BRANDONCMAR allows each object the opportunity to dictate its own function. Known for their sculptural leather goods – Antler Bags, Brooches, Belts, and Gloves – the designer, Brandon Mar, begins with natural materials and, without conforming to a singular part of the body, engineers them into their final form. Through working with upcycled material, from cruelty free animal remains to reclaimed second-hand bags, the brand seeks to imposes function without changing authentic form.
