Who do you do it for?

**This is a photography project I creative directed and shot that is very personal to me and my journey with my art. It's called "who do you do it for?"**

Who do you do it for?

I misspelled fulfillment. When I noticed this, I panicked. I beat myself up and deleted it without

question. As you can see, the carelessness made it back into my project. Immediately after

deleting the photo, I regretted the decision because it went against everything that these photos stood for to me. I want to be less afraid of external judgments, whether they are positive or negative. I need it to serve as a tangible reminder to myself that not all art has to be groundbreaking if it is meaningful to me. Someone is always going to be better than me. There will always be something someone doesn’t like. There will always be something I don’t like. There will always be something that people love. As I get older, I hope I continue to let go of these external forces and achieve a level in my art that fulfills me most.
