DESIGNER APPLICATION
This year's fashion show will be held April 25th at 7PM in Nancy Nicholas Hall. Applications are now open for designers and will close when spots have filled. There is a limited number of designer spots, so earlier applications are encouraged. All designers and models must be available for a rehearsal on Tuesday, April 23rd at 7PM. Questions? WHY JOIN THE ISSUE DESIGNER CO-OP?
CREATE YOUR OWN VISION
The Issue's Designer Co-Op Fashion Shows are made for fashion students and student designers who want to show a body of work with their own creative vision. There is no theme for the garments that will be shown. We embrace the opportunity to show many different designers with greatly different design aesthetics and skill levels. This year, we are emphasizing this with individualized ambience for each designer, and video production to give insight on the different brands presenting.
SHOW YOUR WORK TO INDUSTRY
This year we are partnering with the Kohl's Center for Retailing to invite industry leaders and professionals to attend our show. Your pieces will be seen by recruitment and colleagues from companies looking to hire and/or fund Fashion Designers after graduation.
CAPTUREYOUR WORK
We are collaborating with Media Studies and members of The Issue students to capture video and photo content during the show, behind the scenes and leading up to the show in order to create a catalogue of student work for the year and provide individual designers with high quality, portfolio-worthy images of their garments.
